I'm a bit burnt out on FFXIV, mostly because of how it's designed, and was interested in trying the older game.

Does anyone here play? How is the community for new players?

I played the trial a while ago, but it was too limited (there's no chat or trading, for example). Are there still other new players progressing with or am I stuck with Trusts?

I found that there's a free login campaign now, so I'm trying it out. If we were in the same time zone and I was sure I'd continue playing, I'd offer to join you.

I appreciate the offer, but I likely won't be able to play it for a while. I don't have the time that I would need to dedicate to it at the moment!
