STOP GOING TO REDDIT!
it's been 2+ years since they proved they don't give a flying fuck about it's users. If you are getting banned now, you're only complaining because it now affects you.
it took me getting banned to go look for alternative platforms.
I check Reddit every now and then and fuck it's gotten so much worse. I recommend anyone to leave Reddit.
there a cost to leaving a platform you've been in for a long time. had contacts I miss and cant reach to them because I was banned. also, it does take time to find niche communities you love.
on top of that it's a bit of a boiling frog alive situation, it gets enshitified so gradually that if you survive dealing with it until now, then you can tolerate it a bit more.
Mostly it's the very popular and controversial subreddits that are highly likely to have roving bots for which to drop instabans, mainly on anyone discussing even remotely committing violence on right-wing characters.
Also FU SPEZ.
meanwhile conservatives can chant about killing trans people and no one minds.
I came clean of Reddit last week. It took a couple of tries, since it's like an addiction. But here I am. Also, I weren't banned from Reddit.
