For reference (I'm a Spaniard so maybe this isn't representative): by far the most famous explicitly leftist band of the past 10 years is La Raíz, and one of their most famous songs, "Jilgueros", on the lyrics explicitly talks about "que apunte al cielo quien quiera ser cazador de buitres", (point up to the sky whoever wants to be a hunter of vultures, vultures being capitalist owners and a reference to the so-called "Fondos Buitre" or Vulture Investment Funds in Spain).
The Luigi thing is an example, but you obviously will accept that "Eat the Rich" is a very popular sentiment among western progressives and support for AES is not
