If the headline is trying to ask if Venezuela is going to be America's next Vietnam or Iraq or even Afganistan, the answer is "no."

Well, we don't have US Army infantry... but remember that former Green Beret captured in Venezuela in 2020 trying to perform a coup, who then said he was working for the CIA?

A clownish operation like that certainly seems like the CIA's modus operandi. They like their reputation as a very powerful and secretive operation, but also look at how many times they tried and failed to kill Castro, when a simple car bomb would have sufficed.
