Liberals are those who subscribe to liberalism, an ideology generally supportive of the individual over the collective and the unrestricted freedom of capital. Liberalism does include MAGA, broadly. The Statesian "left," ie the DNC, ultimately supports the very system that depends on this naked imperialism to keep going, despite whatever moral aversion they may have towards it.
