When then Gray Davis was being recalled she threw her hat into the ring. ̶U̶̶n̶̶s̶̶u̶̶̶c̶̶e̶̶s̶̶s̶̶f̶̶u̶̶l̶ She dropped out, but her effort set a modern-day open door for any celebrity to enter the politics arena. This solidified Arnold Schwarzenegger's later win.
