the 43x is a weirdly thin for me. i'm a cis male but with very tiny hands. Personally i prefer the double stack subcompacts, but it is important to try a few different options out at a gun range if you are a first time buyer!

glock 26 was my first handgun (double stack 9mm subcompact). hated it. couldn't hit shit past 3 yards, recoil was snappy as fuck. sold after maybe 100 rounds through it to a donut shop owner. got a CZ instead and it is godly; maybe favorite handgun of all time.

i daily carry my g26, but i absolutely recognize it isn't for everyone. the 43 and all the "x" single stacks or whatever they call them though? basically for no one, at least in my small sample size of like a dozen
