Meh. Blender and any online app stand out like a sore thumb for how unique they are. That doesn’t make them bad apps.

who says that it makes them bad apps? Also just naming one and then all online apps? now thats a feeble attempt at whatever you tried to construe.

This GNOME crap is so insanely cultish it’s … just sad. The only people more braindeadedly set on a specific OS are Apple fanboys…

Whats cultish about wanting to have a Desktop that looks and feels like a consistent OS?

Yep, there it is. So brianwashed by GNOME they don’t even understand how Apple is such an insane walled garden for the sake of vendor lockin and user exploitation and should not be reproduced… (and cannot be reproduced in a free product, ffs)

ah yes... the walled garden of GNOME... because of consistent GUIs and Look&Feel. Maybe we all should go back to CDE when there was only one Desktop Look and Feel and kill off KDE all together.

Your desktop DOES feel like a consistent thing. These are separate applications to do specific things not everyone needs to do. That already have delivered solutions...

Again, you're just proving how cultish and stupid these walled gardens are.

What's cultish?

And how does it measure up to a walled garden?

Why do KDE and GNOME have their own File manager? why their own System settings? Why does MS Office 95 not look foreign in Windows 95/98?

You apparently have no tickets in this game, so why are you even arguing? Just go ahead be up and holy decreeing that GNOME is shit.

lol Your attitude is what is cultish. People used to make fun of KDE for having their own apps for everything. Of course it was usually light ribbing.

Like I said, recreate the wheel if you want. I won't be cheering you on.
