Do they think people will just move on from the fact that their entire ruling class is in a cabal of Zionist pedophiles? They may get away with it, in fact they probably will, but it will always be at the back of the mind. For everyone.

Yeah but democracy isnt the part thats shit right now. Its the capitalist part. As we've seen, capitalism prefers fascism and other forms of governance that are more restrictive. Democracy has its weakness, but straight up asking the people "what you want?" is peak.

Liberal Democracy is not democracy. whatever civil religion myths you still believe about how government works are misleading you here.

the united states hasn't been a democracy since your choice of Citizens' United or Bush v Gore, and it certainly wasn't a democracy before the voting rights act. Whether it was a democracy during the ~30 years between those things is debatable.
