From an official account too. I fear people are not caring about how effectively they communicate anymore.
But not only did you understand what they meant, it got an extra 3 (4 including this one) comments on this post. Seems pretty effective to me.
Engagement bait isn't effective communicating, it's a large component of what's wrong with the world right now. Instead of sharing actual knowledge or being more careful with our words, there's an incentive to get it wrong on purpose because that's what the algorithm rewards. Let's all be better.
I'm sure it was just autocorrect anyway. It's just a ridiculous thing to get worked up about, thinking communication is getting worse, kids these days, etc
It is certainly deteriorating, and effective communication is never a ridiculous thing to make a point of.
Do you have evidence that orthographic errors are signs of human communication "deteriorating", or is it just vibes?
