As an ethnic Chinese that have watched a lot of Chinese WW2 movies/tv shows, this kinda shocked me a bit lol... looks like a pro- imperialist japan invasion propaganda poster. (cuz it looks like a rising sun flag)
This would be the equivalent of a westerner seeing a swastica.
I was totally ignorant of that, I’m sorry. I found a version that doesn’t have the Japanese imperialist flag so we can all enjoy the meme.
