the “finding lost pets” shit is that type of manipulative evil you can only find in a capitalist dystopia. “sadly you all have some sort of rights so we can’t technically fully just spy on you. but if we tell you that we’ll find your kid’s lost puppy then you’ll let us spy on you of your own free will”

I was watching the ~~Superbowl~~ Big Game muted because I was tuned in to Hasan-Felix-Noah-Pablo-bowl like a real sicko, but I saw that ad in the background and immediately clocked how fucked up it was. I'm genuinely encouraged that this seems to have been the mainstream reaction.
