I have no idea what to expect. I only played Nier: Automata, but admittedly it was pretty dang good. The only misgivings I might have stem from how Tsurumaki handled GQuuuuuuX, but to be fair G-Quacks wasn't written by Yoko motherfucking Taro so, y'know.

From what I gather, it is after EoE and Asuka's still struggling with her feelings for Shinji vis-à-vis a discussion between herself and Asuka the Eva Pilot (Don't quote me I can barely understand every 5th word). There's a cute goated moment at the end for all the Shinji-Asuka shippers (me) where she's waiting for him at the train station and when he shows up & offers her his hand, she envisions their future together
