A well written article containing some well researched articles of "The good stuff". I certainly found the leading piece about trachoma genuinely inspiring - a horrible eye disease that's been plagueing humans since the ice age that's seen huge steps very recently in almost complete eradication.

Yet this went completely unreported all all major news outlets in 2025.

There is something wrong about that, I think.

It's not that good news goes unreported. It's drowned out by overwhelming bad news and the hegemonic narrative.

For example, people receiving healthcare under other states is completely opposed to the hegemonic narrative. Capitalism doesn't give a turd about people in Pakistan, Vietnam, etc. Empire views their progress as a threat.

And, while it's cool that an eye disease was cured, the same system is literally murdering humanity and destroying the planet.
