The trick is to not acknowledge them. The new series seems promising though considering the creator for Nier Automata is writing it.
Yeah, they are an alternate storyline anyways, so it's easy to not consider them "canon". I've only interacted with Nier osmotically, so I'm just going to wait with no expectations of any kind and see when it comes out.
Nier Automata's worldbuilding and story are shit, I don't know how the creators involvement is good
