The US is rapidly running out of long-range missiles, while the US proxy regimes in Israel and the Gulf dictatorships are quickly depleting their air defense interceptor missiles.
Tomahawk missiles are made by Raytheon and cost $3.6 million each. The US military has bought 322 in the past 5 years, including 57 planned for 2026.
The US used 168 Tomahawks in the first 100 hours of the war of aggression that it started against Iran on February 28. That was more than half of what it had bought in the previous 5 years.
