To be fair, pretty much all cable news and print media is intentionally lying to the people about everything that is happening. If you read the paper and watch cable news, trying to be an informed citizen, your world view is so far from reality it’s almost laughable. 😭
Keeping up with the truth takes a lot of effort and people who have been doing it for awhile often seem to forget that. It's practically a hobby.
I think I am either literate, or smart, or both, or neither. Thankfully at least one of these options is true for me. Just meaning I don’t have to keep worrying about it regardless.
