Specifically on Lemmy or PieFed, since I use PieFed. I want to speak more Spanish here but can't find an active userbase in Spanish.

Every non German speakers get a tickle when they understand one. I feel like I'm part of a secret circle when I do

Some are even hard to understand for native German speakers. ich_iel has lots of jokes in so-called 'pliers german' which is a mix of German and word-by-word translated English terms. It's not really understood by an average German you'd ask on the streets.

It's so funny that the internet came up with a language that you need to know not one but 2 languages to understand.
