i was a little disappointed to see there aren't many spinoffs or anything. i'm hungry for in-universe content but also generally for similar media. i love the noir and dystopian vibes, and just the way the plot progresses. does anyone have recommendations for similar anime?

Ergo Proxy really is unique. Hmm, in terms of plot progression, have you seen Lain? For sci-fi/dystopian vibes I'd recommend Psycho Pass.
