Settler brain is something else. They're being actively, systematically destroyed by Iran, and instead of fleeing the sinking ship, they try to inflict one last wound on the Palestinians before their colony is reduced to ashes. I really wish I believed in Hell at times like this.
They see their territory as their empire, and lashing out at their captives is a way to prove to themselves that they're still in control. It's a classic abuser habit.
That makes sense. And their abuse won't stop until enough of them are put in the ground.
