⭕️ The Iranian missile strike on Beersheba earlier on Sunday hit the Ne'ot Hovav industrial zone, Israel's primary chemical and hazardous waste hub, impacting what appears to be a chemical facility and triggering a hazardous materials incident with fires and thick black smoke rising from the site.

According to Ynet, hazardous materials leaked following the strike, prompting the deployment of specialized response teams working to contain the leak, seal damaged tanks, and monitor chemical levels in the area. Emergency crews from the southern district, including Beersheba, were dispatched to assess the danger.

As a precaution, workers at the facility and nearby plants were instructed to evacuate exposed areas or remain inside protected structures, while monitoring operations continue until authorities determine there is no risk to the public or environment.

Israeli media and authorities have so far remained vague about the exact nature of the facility that was hit, offering limited details despite the scale of the incident.
