MODERATORS
That's quite clever, instead of trying to fix someone you study their behavior and put yourself in the utmost adventurous position, to direct their behavior.
In such a precarious state one cannot but choose between obeying you ore disobeying themselves. Although it wouldn't fix anyone and would likely create resentment, which is why in reality these relationships will never last.
