We all know "Always pay your guys." But has anybody ever said "Don't arrest their family right in front of them."?

The press release sure seems like the Marines are warning their latest class of recruits that their family members could get kidnapped at their graduation ceremony.
You should "Always pay your guys" cuz they're gonna get paid regardless either by your enemy or them taking what they're owed out of you.
But if you take a guy's family hostage you don't even really need to pay him anymore to get him to do what you want.
