So how come I can’t find as much stuff from the Ukrainian people about their government being nazis?

Russia's war in Ukraine was preceded by mass demonstrations by ethnic Russians in the Donbas region against their government being nazis, which escalated into the masses seizing weapons and occupying buildings. It was only after this that Russia became directly involved.
