Have you played League of Legends? A game can be addicting while still being a net negative experience, unfortunately...
I have played Starcraft 2 in multiplayer/ladder for a couple of years. Im no stranger to multiplayer games but I dont think I can relate to folks who spend lots of time playing something they overall dont enjoy.
