MODERATORS
I love pokemon descriptions like this, where they just go really big and extreme. This pokemon's mane is just under 2 times hotter than the surface of the sun. Similar to how Wailord is so impossibly large and since the pokedex lists it weighing 800 lbs, it is less dense than air.
But I am sure they just converted the value in the Japanese version to Fahrenheit and rounded it to the nearest 1000 degrees for the American release.
