Why is all of Lemmy politics? (lemmy.ml)

Seriously every other post, every sub seems like nothing but politics. It's so boring and disgusting. What made reddit great at one time was the diversity of genres and depth. Lemmy is very shallow and politically motivated it seems. I have been here since the Reddit exodus. It's always been this way.

Do different Lemmy servers have different content?

Are certain severs curated?

Where do I find the depth and deep subject matter.

You can curate your own feed: use the block button for any communities you don't want to see.

As for why there's a lot of politics on lemmy: The west's leading country just threatened to annihalate an entire civilization yesterday. Kind of a lot going on right now.
