Just curious as a language enthusiast, the verb fix in this language (hebrew?), is it like fixing a roof, fixing a table; Or is it like healing a patient?
Tikun is more like "repair" you wouldn't really use it for a patient. Olam means world. however in some expression it also sort of means eternity (le Olam vaed" means "for ever and ever", but a direct translation would be "the world and beyond", "le olam lo..." means "I've never...") . I assume in biblical times it was the world for "everything" because they had no clue there are other planets.
