A scam now is when they enter the car market of my country with electric cars so cheap and so good they literally force other brands to actually try? Got it lol.

It's been a while since I checked, but until BYD and GWM entered the market here at least, big car brands were still selling manual cars, without AC and with windows with crank handles, because apparently it was "too expensive" for all of them to do that to the more popular car models.
