JFC $81k a month to license it? How much ad revenue does the Onion generate?
Given that it's all going to the Sandy Hook families and survivors, it's a pretty good cause.

Not as much as it will.
I would figure that add revenue is almost entirely their bottom line.
Yeah, I assume ad revenue and maybe some merch sales.
They did get into print again recently, but yes. I would expect all of the other forms of revenue to be pretty tiny in comparison.
It's easy to forget how powerful ad revenue is, but that's essentially what screwed us into having Google everywhere.
