MODERATORS
Under us occupation afghan women were the freest they've ever been. They trained Afghan soldiers, built infrastructure and educated the populace, but as soon as the west left, the afghans put down their arms and welcomed the Taliban into power.
Or maybe because the U.S unable to win those guerrilla war & fled the country, it enabled the Taliban to take control of the country.
They didn’t have a choice other than accepting their power.
Apparently the Afghan army was a lot smaller in real life than it was in the American paperwork.
