For me it's Tony Benn. Probably not greatly known outside of the UK. He was one of the old guard of the UK Labour Party's socialist faction. A man of principle and integrity, who would be ashamed at what Labour have become.

An absolute legend and sorely missed. He maintained a consistent belief in what was right and was the moral voice of the Labour Party. The loss of these socialist titans who witnessed the birth of the social and health revolutions post World War 2 are a direct cause of the terrible state of the Labour Party today - a cesspit of pro-corporate, back stabbing, genocide supporting group of individuals with no ethics. No one today carries the torch of fairness and equality within the Labour Party today since all dissent has been expelled. It’s a shame his son is so different and slots into the current crowd of Labour MPs
