For me it's Tony Benn. Probably not greatly known outside of the UK. He was one of the old guard of the UK Labour Party's socialist faction. A man of principle and integrity, who would be ashamed at what Labour have become.

Jeff Jackson is a local guy who got screwed out of his seat and then became Attorney General. He's very down to earth and matter of fact. His primary PR strategy is just direct to camera 1-2 minute videos explaining what he's working on, how his other efforts are going, and what to expect from him. Go check out his social media for examples. It's really refreshing that he tries to tone down the spin and explain why other government members are behaving the way that they are. I agree with like 80% of his politics too
