Even with the most expensive subscription, that's about 750 devs being serviced by that amount of API money. I think 1 Rohan isn't going to get you much.

Subscriptions are moving to usage based. Ain't gonna be $200/month/Dev soon. Gonna be $3-4k/month/Dev.

Not many people are paying attention to this. I manage my companies Ai policy and plan. Yesterday I checked the Copilot pricing preview and it did not look good. We do not use it heavily and it is going to cost us 2x. People should be prepared to go back to trad coding.

I’m a little glad I got laid off just when this was starting to become a huge thing at the end of 2024/2025 and missed the most intense parts of this.

And once the AI actually have to earn money instead of burning billions each year, it's gonna become a lot more expensive still and then more and more each year. Line must go up after all.
