Context: The grayed-out portion of the image is similar to what a character's genitals upon turning into a Wraeththu are described as. If you don't know what this game is, I envy you.
As someone who makes knives and swords, seeing blade designs like this makes my insides scream.
They're harder to make, and create an extremely weak point of failure.
But you don't understand! The Wraeththu are just better than us, so they know how to make things that look weak from the point of view of a dumb, inferior human, but they're actually even better than katanas, which we all know to be the pinnacle of human weaponsmithing!
