Yeeeeah, there just isn't anything else that scratches this itch though. With friends it is genuinely very fun, as well.

Yeah I saw that. Not surprised. This game is the prime example of feature creep and tech debt. Every patch necros old bugs and brings new ones and then the devs spend the next couple weeks squashing them again. Sq42 will release some day, eventually.
