It will be funny if it is permanent and the next dem president refuses to dismantle it. "we must look forward, not backwards" or some shit.
if any Dem has the balls to say "on day one i will demolish that fucking ballroom" they will win the primary with 90% of the vote
(and then they wouldn't even have to do it honestly dems are so checked out when their guy is in by 2032 they'd be saying the ballroom and thunderdome are great actually)
That's what I want. Do some nominal, like, ceremonial or vaguely "meaningful" shit with it so that dems feel like they have to keep it. Put "one nation, under god, indivisible" on the mat or some shit.
