TIL scissors were invented before paper!
Clearly due to a time-travelling inventor.
What did they cut? Mummies?
I would think rudimentary scissors came from shears to cut wool or hair.
In order to get practical paper, youd need the process of cutting wood to a T, which likely would have created scissors before hand if cutting has evolved to that point already.
