I live in germany, so I cant on sundays, 'cauze everything is closed.
Cafés are literally one of the only things open on Sundays here, and they sell cake.
And many bakeries also are open for some hours on a Sunday. And the shops at a train station.
Damn, that sounds more puritan than I would expect from Germany.
Na man. We simply care about getting rest on weekends :)
I guess I associate it with weird old religious laws in the US that have been slowly, but not fully phased out over the years.
Lots of places here can't sell alcohol on Sundays before a certain time still.
I mean, you over there have to conceal your booze in inconspicuous brown bags to carry it around.
nah, they're well known for being weird up north about sundays. when they tried it here, the country was united in hatred and a clear will to disregard the whole stupid idea.
