I still make random noises for no reason
The reason is that it's fun.
Same. Sometimes I have to tell myself firmly to shut up and concentrate on what I'm doing, but I never listen.
Never used to do this until I got into linguistics and now I find myself sometimes just randomly trying to produce an unfamiliar phone. Recently it's often been [ส] or some pharyngealised consonants since I've been looking more into Arabic
