Remember, Florida man as a phenomenon is partially based on the laws on how crimes can be reported in that state. Far more lax than other states.

I thought it was written that ALL crimes MUST be reported (to the state's website, or local paper, not sure), not that they're lax about what CAN be reported.

Can Florida Man or Woman chime in here?
