Kari Byron recently starred in Shell's video that's supposed to convince everyone that fossil fuels are great.

That's really, really, disappointing. What a shame.

Shell doesn't care and neither does Kari, this is like knocking down a trashcan and calling yourself an anarchist

Britta is the worst.

!Sorry, I immediately thought of Community. Or, is that what you wanted?!<

[-] Cethin@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 years ago

Well, it should hopefully effect if the video is recommended to other users.

People gave so many thumbs down to The Little Mermaid based solely on the fact that Halle Bailey was black and starring in it, those thumbs don't mean much of anything. The comments though are great

Man that's really disappointing to see. I literally background watch mythbusters every night as I'm going to bed and I've loved the show since I was a kid. Hope the remainder of the crew continues to maintain their integrity.

At least Adam Savage is a good dude. He is actively running his YouTube channel, and often answers various questions including personal ones.

And I at least know that he has actively tweeted in support of LGBTQ+ rights. I highly doubt he would sell out for big oil.

Adam savage was openly supportive of trans people in like the aughts. He’s just been consistently a great guy

I live in San Francisco and ran into him at brunch a few weeks ago - he was super friendly when I came up to talk to him and super patient and sweet. I was super nervous that meeting him would ruin my image of him but it is still intact :)

Aww I love hearing positive stuff like this about people

It probably helps that he's probably a millionaire and has some tremendous life achievements under his belt.

Thank you downvote pluggis, YIKES, I didn't need to watch more than a second because I've never seen something bomb that low and still be up on YT.
