There is zero possibility that Israel will be destroyed.
There is a serious possibility that Gaza is going to be destroyed.
It's really not the same.
Yeah its like the difference between saying 'I hope Britain won't be a country anymore' and 'I hope Ukraine won't be a country anymore'. One of those countries has no worries at all about sovereignty, the other not so much.

Gaza will be there for Israel to take over once it is done with big picture
The land will be there, but every inch of infrastructure and every structure will be rubble and the people will either be removed or exterminated.
They'll probably change the name too.
