Aussie Metal has a different vibe (poptalk.scrubbles.tech)

Black and white picture of muffin heeler looking ready to mosh with "MUFFIN" written above stylized in "metal-album font".

And just for fun, here's the poor visual description ChatGPT wrote for this picture when I asked:

The image features a stylized, cartoon-like depiction of a dog's head and upper body. The dog appears cheerful, with its paws raised as if in celebration. The dog has large, exaggerated eyes, one of which is covered by a patch. The background is predominantly black, with the word "MUTINY" written in large, jagged, and spiky white letters behind the dog. The overall theme is contrasting with the black and white colors, and the design is bold and edgy.

If King Gizzard and The Murlocs are indicative of Aussie music in general, then something about Aussies just makes their music better. Part of the reason why I love King Gizzard is because they sound like they're having fun, like they're enjoying what they're doing and they're not taking themselves too seriously, even if they're talking about a more serious topic (like climate change).
