Using his logic Hamas can also say every Israeli adult is a combatant & not a civilian since every Israeli adult is forced to serve at idf & is a reserve. See how ugly it can get if you use his logic. Killing civilians, especially those you occupy, can never be justified.

still not the same thing. if you move in and the local population gets violently displaced to make room for you, you're not a civilian. settlers are not immigrants.
