All I use Reddit for is updates on the russo-uknrainian war. Fuck spez. Wish the live thread comments had some kind of mirror here.
There is a lot of information about the war on Mastodon. It might be enough for you if you want to take a look. #Ukraine and #UkraineWar are both worth looking into.
Personally, I've just switched to using https://www.understandingwar.org/ for my daily update and https://warontherocks.com/ for the deep dives.
The amount of useful information is similar, and the signal to noise ratio is far better.
