For those wondering what the fuck a monad is, it's simply is just a monoid in the category of endofunctors

The Monad is also the name Gnostics chose to refer to the creator deity as they saw the God of Genesis as evil and a pretender

I honestly read “endofuckers”, and even though I know what a monad is, I think this misreading serves the memes community just as well.
