Found this a couple of days ago. Works great and is actively being developed. The best mobile minesweeper I've seen so far.

Can you install the Android Wear app from F-Droid too?

Definitely not using just the F-Droid app on your phone. Some apps utilizing adb might make installing .apk file(s) like this game on WearOS devices easier though
