I feel sorry for men who have to wear pants

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The most popular seem to be lighthearted, clever little truths, hidden in daily life.
Here are some examples to inspire your own showerthoughts: 1
If you made it this far, showerthoughts is accepting new mods. This community is generally tame so its not a lot of work, but having a few more mods would help reports get addressed a little sooner.
Whats it like to be a mod? Reports just show up as messages in your Lemmy inbox, and if a different mod has already addressed the report the message goes away and you never worry about it.
I have 4 kilts and wear them to work when I want to, almost as a dare to management so I can retire off a lawsuit. Utilikilts and Verillas have great kilts with pockets for workin' men that like a pretty skirt.
If they give you flak, just say it's part of your religion.
Oh, I'm definitely planning on testing the limits of my newfound freedom of speech through religious expression.
Considering founding a religion that bars wearing shirts and shoes in public buildings. Then we can have a splinter group that can ONLY enter buildings while armed, good luck getting those guys to court without violating their civil rights!
It's strange how seeing a man in a skirt or kilt feels so off. Like, my brain just fires an alert for some reason. It's just a freaking piece of cloth, wtf.
We are so brainwashed.
My neighbors got a kick out of seeing me doing yardwork in one. Until the novelty wore off, now it's just normal to them.
It always like that but when it is, is nice.
Also recommend Utilikilts as I have their product too.
I wanted to buy one. Friend of mine intervened cause I'm not Scottish and It'd be cultural appropriation. It's she right? Or is she left?
Today's kilt today was invented in the 1720s by the Englishman Thomas Rawlinson.
Your friend doesn't sound very supportive. It shouldn't be a problem to wear a kilt, I own three and they're great when it's warm. ... Just not great when it's windy 👀.
I live in Scotland and I'd say, go right ahead. Scots aren't precious about the kilt at all, not like the diaspora. You don't even have to go with tartan!
