Liberal electoral brilliance.
Piss off anybody who is against genociding brown people while running against Republicans. Now your base is people who don't mind genociding brown people who aren't already voting for the "genocide brown people" party.
Hard to think of a better way to cut yourself off at the knees.
Liberals hoping to beat Republicans without anybody who cares about genocide, labor rights, the environment, young people or lgbtq rights.
That is the DNC's dream. To never have to ptetend to care about any of that anymore. I don't think they care about winning too much. Maybe just the presidency and nothing else, wouod feel ideal for them
I think they only really want to do insider trading. Their dream would be something like Irish politics where both major parties are exactly the same but corruptly work for different companies and do pork barrel politics to gain votes. This is frustrated by the fact that many republicans actually believe in things (terrible and wrong things) but actual political goals nonetheless
